Yesterday i wanted to quit my mom's account to resign up, except this time under my name and for 3 new phones. Funny thing is, T-mobile truly cares for their clients- even as to offer me a free month of service for my family just for staying with them for an extra month. Then the Rep offered me three FREE, yes, count em, three free new phones of my choice. Eager to take 3 Treo 650s, i decided not to because the cell phone dealer i subscribe from offers great service and discount for more than four years.
But if anyone wants to try this trick, i hope you get lucky and run into a nice rep.
PS: i told them i lost my job and started to cry- maybe that acting got me that far.

Your acting had nothing to do with it. T-Mobile is in the business of satisfying customers. It's not a trick....I think you are wrong for trying to trick a service provider, but hey maybe you don't have morals.

First of all, i declined their offer:
"I decided not to because the cell phone dealer I subscribe from offers great service and discount for more than four years. "
So dont be such a jerk-off telling me I lack morals because I did the right thing.
I however do agree that t-mobile has satisfying service support, but to offer me that 3 free cell phone deal sounded farfetch'd, even the T-mobile representative was in cataleptic astonishment.

I too think it is shameful to get on the line with a CSR and start crying and faking it. T-mobile is in the business of satisfying their customers and making them happy. I have been with them since they were VoiceStream and would never dream of calling in and trying to get something for nothing. When you do that, you force the company into giving you your free phones and free service, but then, that could cause Tmobile to raise their prices and force all other honest custmers into having to pay more money for new devices and/or their bills. I myself being a Tmobile customer, would rather not have to pay more money for my service. Keep this in mind next time you want to cry wolf on the phone to get something free.
