why don't you use a data cable to transfer the ringtone? if it's e-mailed to your phone then you are supposed to be able to open the attachment.

hello all experts
i m having problems using the software. can help
1) Do I need to convert the song to mid first or can direct convert from wav o mmf?
2) When I convert wav to mid AND wav to mmf, it always show this error message "wav is not convertible for this format". What is wrong?
Thanks all for your help!!!
BTW, u mentioned the software is fully in English but there are some parts in Chinese leh... is it meant to be like that

Conversion from '.mid' to '.mmf' is DEFINITELY more straight forward.
Converting wav and mp3 to 'mmf' is very finicky and the end result isnt usually that good of quality... Of course it all depends on what the source material is thats in wav format.
Unfortunately you cant just rip a CD and convert it to mmf... The wav has to be within these requirements. You need to downsample it to a 16bit (MONO) file w/a Sampling frequency of 8khz MAX and it cannot be more than 66sec in length or larger than the phones file size limitations.
As you will soon see MOST hi-fidelity wavs are done when you bring it down to that level.. So dont expect much more than phone quality voice speech.
After you convert your wav to those specs it will then convert to a mmf.
And when they say its fully in ENGLISH in comparison to the original chinese version its been translated quite a bit.. But you are correct there are several areas STILL NOT translated.

Hm, there's no names of instruments in "Instruments' option! This is ridiculous, how am I supposed to change them if I don't know which is which?...

Hehe, luckily you are not serious...
Back to v3.80, it's not worth it.
