Thanks BigRuss. This is an impressive list. I have over a 150 listed on www.usshortcodeswhois.com but you have many that I was unaware of.

Ok Here's A Simple Solution To Your Problem. Just Calll Your Wireless Provider And Ask Them To Block All Premium Text Messages. I Just Recently Did So And Haven't Recieved Any Since!

This forum led me in the right direction to figure out how to actually cancel the mblox dadamobile subscription.

1-888-214-0381...call this number from the phone that the subscription is being billed to, and there is a function in the automated menu to cancel. I ended up finding this in the terms and conditions link at their website. Though, I won't actually be sure this has been successful until after the next billing cycle from Cingular. Funny thing is, I sent a request for cancellation to them from their

page at their website, and got a bounceback from my email server, and also an auto response from them. Seems like an odd script that would point to an invalid email address, but also send a response.

I don't even have text messaging service on my phone, so there is no way I could ever have authorized this subscription via a text message, which is what they state must happen for them to start billing, but of course that didn't stop them from billing me. Interesting that someone could just go to their website and start putting in random numbers, and set people up with a paid subscription with absolutely no verification that the person in possession of the phone number is the person setting up the service. Seems a long way from ethical, and much closer to absolute crooked. Anyways, hope this helps someone else!

I have alot of these numbers, but have you ever called them? Its more frustrating than any automated system WE have! At least it would get them off of our phones.only theyre just going to call back, more pissed than ever. I say give them the websites. They know they arent going to get a call back or a reply right away and it gives them time to cool off-possibly forget.
