Can someone please help me with getting my T616 and D-Link DBT120 bluetooth adaptor working properly with Win XP SP2? I can pair my phone to my PC without a hitch and get my phone enter the password I input from my computer.... but when I start up Sony Ericsson Image Editor or Sony Ericsson Communuication Suite or the Send File program, the 3 programs do not see a phone connected?
I have all the latest drivers and most recent software straight from the website. Is there something that I am doing wrong? I would like to upload/download ringtones/pics/themes to my phone, as well as sync MS Outlook with my phone, etc.... please advise anyone?
Thanks in advance

I have windows XP (sp1a) and the DBT-120 (Using the T610 - setup via BT should be identical).
The D-Link software should have created a bluetooth icon on your desktop as well as in your systray. Do you have your phone listed in the Entire Bluetooth Neighbourhood - with a check mark beside it (meaning it is paired)??
IF you do, you should be able to click it and then have the services listed - if you see public folder, this is where you can upload media through.. you will get a Pictures / Sounds / Themes directories.
You don't need any additional send file program (not famaliar with that btw) to transfer files to the phone.
I'm gonna try the calendar synch using the Xtend connect software. Will see how that goes.

Sending/receiving files is pretty easy....
Synchronizing with outlook is a bit more tricky, but I got it working today !
XTDN connect didn't work at first...
Sooooo here's how to do it :
first of all check thru the BT locations on your PC and connect to the T610 thru 'serial port'... You'll see it takes up a COM port - remember the number !
Go to settings - contol panel (onfiguration) and find Phone Monitor Options. Check out the com ports there and put the com port active + reserve it...
After a reboot, XTDN connect should work and you can synchronize

I have had the same problem as the original author. I can pair my phone with my PC but my PC will not see any services on my phone. I am working to find a solution and will keep you posted. Please keep me posted as well.
I have a DBT-120, WinXP SP2, T616.

I also have the same problem. I can only pair my phone with my PC from the phone but not from my PC. Once paired, my PC cannot find any service on my phone . Funny thing is I can still browse files, send to and get from my PC using my phone. Any idea

When I got the DBT-120 and my T616 I downloaded the newest drivers from Dlink. V1.4. Of course I installed, uninstalled several times but the computer could never discover the phones services, thus no com port mapping, no syncing, no wireless internet access.
I finally uninstalled it all again and put in the old CD I got with my Dlink. Drivers version 1.2.2.15 (or something). Installed it all and it works. The software started up and it said "T616 found, enter password to pair". And then the T616 confirms that password and I can see all the service, sync my outlook (with XTND) and connect to the internet (ATT Mobile Connection Manager).
Good luck!

I've been having the same problem. Here is how I fixed it.
1 - Uninstalled the DLink Software from the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
2 - Rebooted (Don't know if this was necessary, but just to be sure......)
3 - Plugged my DBT120 into my laptop.
4 - Waited for windows to auto configure it.
5 - Turned BT on in my phone. Had my phone try to connect to my laptop, and clicked the message Icon on the Laptop to allow the phone to connect.
6 - Went into Control Panel->Phone Monitor Options, under the COM Port Settings, enabled & restricted all of the COM Ports that the Phone was using (BlueTooth Icon at the bottom->Show BlueTooth Devices->COM Ports)
7 - Rebooted again.
8 - Started my sync software (XTNDConnect) and was able to connete.
Ask, if you have any more questions.
My only one is how do I get more services, like being able to send pictures back and forth.

Windows loads a microsoft driver and you need to use the Dlink driver. Dlink has published a procedure explaining how to to this.
ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/dbt120_revB3/QIG/WinXP_servicepack2/dbt12 0_InstallationGuide_winxpsp2.pdf
I am running XP Pro with SP2 installed and using a the Dlink DBT-120 H/W A1 with a SonyEricsson T616 phone and Jabra BT250 headset.
After following the instruction provided by Dlink everything works correctly now.
