Most of what you are looking for is in the tutorial section of this forum. Flashing is stickied in this forum. There are three programs that I have used to flash Smartmoto, PST and RSD. I like RSD but we cant like to RSD or PST. If you cant find them Smartmoto is here: http://www.motoaide.com:8081/download.htm

Triplets phones cannot capture video. Bitrate keep it under 128kbps anything over that will sound the same anyways. Length 30 seconds is long (anything over this usually goes to VM so its just wasting memory to have longer tones).

The event lights that are on the V600 will not show up on the V400 even after being flashed to a V600 cause its missing the hardware part of the feature. No problem

lol, i figured that, but that's no biggy, now that it's a v600 at heart it doesn't know the difference . way faster, and better quality everything on the v600 now, glad it worked on my first try, and worked so well might i add. good thing i found these forums and the cool people in them , quick question, i see that there are solder points on the circut board on the v400, couldn't i install lights through the appropriate points?, cuz i could just get a v600 shell. hmmm

BUMP. what flash is responsible for vidoe capture? i'm curious on how i could go about getting this thing to record cam, who knows what flash/flex the v600 has initially, and which f and f people use on it, and does the cam still work after that?
