I have a cracked outside screen on my LG 1400. Was in my pocket and I walked and hit the side of my desk. It has a crack down the whole front outside screen. Can I just buy a custom faceplate and that will replace the window part? What else can I do to get this replaced?

That might work, but there is no guarentee that there isn't damage to the LCD part of the screen beneath the faceplate

hey rakeshb10, yes you can buy a custom faceplate for your phone, i just bought one myself friday, i have the lg1400, i cracked the front display of my phone. i bought it out of the mall at one of those little booths, i don't know if your malls has that, they sell custom faceplates and accessories for phones, but anyway, they can replace it for you, it was $15 for the faceplate... hope i answered your question..

I bought a new faceplate on ebay. I will just install that.

rakeshb 10 where on ebay did u get a new face plate...i had the same problem...but my phone was under warranty so i called my cingular warranty for my phone and they sent me a new one but they charged me for a 2 instead of 5 day delivery which is free although i asked for 5 day ya know. so i just want to send them there stupid phone back and get me a new face plate.how much was it too??

Cingular warenty replaced your phone even though you cracked the face plate ?
