Well I've had T-mobile for three years and I'm finally thinking of changing my service plan. Of course like before, the only holding me back is the lack of selection of good phones. I bought the V205 at full retail price $400 back when I activated the service. Wish I could get the Samsung P735 at the price of the E635. icon_razz.gif Anyway, hate that the U.S. phones lack the feature of their European siblings. Anyone know if the Samsung D600 or D720 have been released yet and how much? These are the phones that hold my interest the most. Don't want the D500.

This is the service i have now:

500 Text Messages $2.99
SmartAccess 3000 $49.99
T-Zones Service $2.99

Want to change plans and already talked to CC they said i would lose the text messages and t-zone service if i change plans because it was a promotional offers. So is there anyway i could keep them? So far I'm interested in the Get More plan and Any 400 Messages. (Would like the unlimited one though but $14.99/month! icon_surprised.gif ) But if I add T-zones it basically comes out the same amount monthly that i currently pay. The whole purpose of changing plans was to save a few bucks. icon_sad.gif

Is a replacement for the Samsung P735 coming out soon? If not is there any additional discount i can get on the P735 besides the instant discount that is currently being offered?

Sorry for the many questions but just trying to figure out if it's worth keeping the service or time to cancel it. Lack of phone selections and basically paying $68/month are giving me doubts. Would to pay about $45/month but thats almost impossible. icon_razz.gif Just looking for some input. Thank you for your time. icon_biggrin.gif

Just cause you change your plan doesnt mean that you will lose those features, If you ask the rep to go through with changing the plan (BUT do NOT save the changes) they should be able to see if your two grandfathered features have expiration dates beside them. If they do...you will lose the features, if they do NOT then they will stay on the account. Happens 50% of the time so no harm in trying and if they are going to expire the rep can just refresh the screen as no changes were saved. The price on the P735 isnt too bad, phone is really nice and the camera is one of the best I have seen. Original retail was $499.99 so current pricing isnt too bad. Let us know what you do.

Oh p.s. beware that the older 3000 min plan's for $49.99 have a much better HCA (home calling area) then the current ones, and if you change your plan, just to go back to this plan you will not have as big of a calling area (area you can call without being charged longdistance or be in without being charged roaming). Maybe have the rep look up the HCA for the current plan and the HCA for your grandfathered plan to see if there is much of a difference.

Yes you can change your number just like a regular landline, however T-Mobile does not support vanity numbers (will not give you request sequences). No black RAZR is not available for T-Mobile yet, but our Silver RAZR comes stock with Video record where Cingular's silver/black RAZR does not.

I love european phones and would prefer them than the ones that are currently being offered. But either phones from overseas unlocked would cost $400+. *Sigh* A black oem razr would cost about $350+ havent found one cheaper than that. If i choose a phone from t-mobile will i have to pay for it right then or will it be billed to my account?

Depending on your account type you "may" be able to get it billed to your account, most have to make advanced credit card payments though.
