Ok… First – I am sorry for opening a new thread with so many already existing threads where I can probably find answers in next month if I go trough everything, but I am really on the verge of my nerves 
The thing is – I need to rebuild my imei number.
I tried all codes there are and at the end I realized that non of them will work for the problem I have – "Service limited".
So I bought a cable since I read that you need one to rebuild imei number, and it looks like I bought a wrong one. I got a USB cable, exactly this one: http://www.skal-man.se/Shop/Image/Article/USBE700.jpg
I got "Cerberos 1.4 fixed" and "Samsung SGH-S500 Service Tools" as someone recommended and tried them. I did succeeded getting into TAT MODE (found a phone on com3 port), "unlock" and "reset" options work fine but when I choose IMEI option it either gets stuck on 20% or I get an error message "12 section not exist" (which is a error message when cable isn't the right one as I understood it).
I read somewhere that I can somehow switch my usb port to com1 with some extra drivers but since that sounds too complicated I didn't look more into that. Maybe I should?
So, my question is:
Is it possible to change imei with a usb cable?
If not, can I use any COM cable or do I have to find one that has (if I recall right) some data u/d switch?
Since I am in Sweden there are not so many stores to choose from and the only one I found is this one http://www.swedenmobile.com/images/products/samsung_e700_caomkabel.jpg which is actually called "unlocking cable" but I am suspicious since I read that about an extra switch somewhere on it and I think this one doesn't have it?
Any help is appreciated and I will be really thankful if you find it in your hearts to help me if you can, even though I opened a new thread when I probably should have had a better look on all existing threads.

Nevermind everything I wrote, I fixed it today with usb cable and WinME

If there is an answer to e700 imei problems I think I know them by now... after soooooo much time trying this and that, lol!

Hi Olja,
I hope u can help me with my E700...
I want to unlock it with the USR-software, Universal Simlock Remover,
but when i attach the cable to the mobile and get on the software, it says that i have to enter TAT mode!
Do u know how to enter TAT mode on E700?
To do it on D500 is easy, the power off key should be pressed and held...
I would be extremly grateful if u could advice me how to do it...
