11 family members showed up yesterday stranded on the freeway. s.a. had no vacancies that morning. for a bit they were going to stay with me, but then they found a room. i'm going to see them today.

I am from Louisiana and we were hit pretty hard where I am at. Alot of flooding within just a few miles away from where I live. Looked alot like New Orleans after the flood. Alot of people are still not able to go home because the water is still in their homes. Everyone knows it is hot as hell here, but when you are without electricity for days at a time and can't take warm baths, you realize how good we have it. We felt sorry for Florida when they kept getting hit but never expected for us to get hit twice in one year.
