I bought 2 of the serial cables from Eforcity and neither of them work!
Save your money and by the right one. I just haven't figured out which one that is yet. I can't stand being without my phone being sync'd up with outlook. I'm going crazy!!!!!
I thought this was all going to be a lot easier coming from Motorola's and TrueSync.....unfortunately NOT the case.
Let me know if you find out any more....there is lack of information on this subject!!!!

you need the one with the switch. you can not sync with outlook since v205 doesn't support it. read the v205 reviews by mobiledia.

Well, i used the one from ecorcity and it worked fine for flashing....but it will not work with easygprs....I got mine from ebay for $8 plus shipping and tax was like 11 bucks I forget realy...I also picked up a IRDA for about 20bucks from fry's electronics.....With those 2 together i think i still came out cheaper than the orginal cable and when i buy another phone i will still be able to use my IRDA...So I think thats a better way to go..
