This works. I did it last night and replace the "cl" file that shows the "cingular incon" on the external LCD with another picture/icon that I wanted. I did not mind the other "Moto" stuff so I left them in there but may change them later if I find better graphics. If you do that, be sure to crop the picture to 96W x 80L.
I also hexed my V3 to silent the start-up and shut-down music. I worked in a professional environment so that's the last time you want to be hearing around the board room.
