Anyone have recommendations on trimode phones for Verizon? For some reason, the newest Motorola and LG phones (Motorola E815 and LG VX8100) have eliminated analog, which cuts out Verizon's upstate NY customers that travel in rural areas. I'd be happy to hear opinions from manufacturer reps if they're on this board.

Can you here me now? Does this slogan bother you or am I the only person that is bugged by this? I switched to tri mode lg vx8100 due to living in a rurul area in randleman, nc, and the service is not any better. I changed on the advise of Verizons tech support specilalist, and to top that off i live in the middle of 3 towers within a 5 mile radius.Have talked with support specilalist on several occasions without any quick response, i suppose the fix to get me off their back was the lgvx8100. Also using this phone I can visit my daughter who lives 30 miles away and the phone goes into roam using it from her house. From my house the phone can be used outside but not inside withot breaking up, any hope to get a tri mode phone that works in this area? I feel like I am wasting my money on some GOOFY GUY THAT WALKS AROUND SAYING "CAN YOU HERE ME NOW". icon_w00t.gif

Which model did you have before? The 8100 does NOT have analog.

You best bet is to get the LG Vx6100. It is a great phone with great features and is a tri-mode.

v710 is pretty good for a trimode... if you live in the middle of 3 towers 5 mi away, and your expecting full covg indoor? ha. trimode probably wont help you depending on your area.
