If you're with AT&T, it's 1-800-331-0500. But if you're getting that message, all they'll tell you to do is go to a store and buy a new SIM. So, go to a store and buy a new SIM card. The next time your phone asks for a PUK code, don't try to enter it, call the number above and get the code and it won't cost you $25.

It's midnight here, and I have school in the morning
I feel really stupid now knowing that I could have saved my SIM by not putting random numbers in for the PUK.
But now that I know I just killed it, all I'm really worried about is my mom not knowing that I through money down the drain, and fixing my phone within 24 hours.
Since I've already put a ton of random numbers in for the PUK and now the only function available to my phone is SOS calling.how do I buy a SIM?
I have a cingular store in my mall, but can I just go there and ask for one? I have 24 bucks on hand.
Thanks for your help! Any input would be great. I'm still kicking myself for doing that.

can only be activated if you can verify the account though

the same thing happened to me and i don't know the customer service #. is there any other way i can get the puk code?

i tried a lot of times 2 unlock it b cuz i thot it was a regular code. So now ur sayin dat i hav 2 buy a new fone wen technically it wasnt my fault 4 my fone freezing nd going 2 the PUK code?
c riously its not the best idea 4 a fone 2 hav a thing like dat.thr should b like a warning or someting 2 stop ppl from making dat mistake.

Holy crap someone please help me! I went to change my PIN code just to see what it would do and now im stuck until I know what my "PUK" code is! Plzzz help! :'(

U have to call into customer care they will give u the code. U can call into the warranty dept and exchange the phone for a diffrent make and model also if u want to.
