hi everybody,
so i have PST and MPT and the "p2kman drivers" or whatever their official names are, and i'm having trouble actually setting everything up.
when i plug in my v551, my laptop doesn't know what it is and can't install the drivers for it blah blah blah, and then the programs themselves aren't actually detecting the phone either.
so how do i install the drivers and more importantly WHICH ONE do i use? there seems to be many...

try turning off and on the phone while the phone is plug in puter. This may help in detecting a new device.

It's detecting it as a device, but which driver do I use? I have a whole folder full of drivers that I downloaded, but I don't know which one I'm supposed to use, I have...

okay, well, simply connecting the phone with the usb cable and opening the software isnt working, obviously there's something i'm not setting up right.
a lot of people on the board have successfully modded their 551's, how did you set it up in the first place?

All I did was install MPT first, made sure that it was recognizing my phone and working then followed instructions here: http://xlr8.us/hofo during installation.
