you can charge it with the phone on or off. fully discharged is not needed everytime you charge but do so everyone once in a while depending on how many times you charge per week. improvements of battery life from upgrading the phone's firmware does not happen every firmware upgrade. it's just a possibility. and most of use can not notice it.

I dunno all firmware look the same now i'm on V208G3 Beta2 it has some new pictures.

Don, where do new firmware updates come from? Do you get them from Samsung? I've not been able to find them from a single source, and I haven't seen anything on who releases them or how we obtain them. Thanks!
