I believe that there is an unlocked 02 flex at www.motox.us. You can use that and nothing should change, backup phonebook and anything you want to keep as flexing will erase everything but all functions should stay the same.

with p2kcommander open up the skin directory, if scarlet is not there, then create a file called scarlet.... then delete the file, restart phone. If the file is already there just delete and restart phone.

Ok so new folder button, name is Scarlet (case sensitive.... you need the cap) then click on restart phone, then go back and delete the file and then click on the restart phone button. Should be gone from the menu functions.

I deleted the sound files, pictures, and skins like listed. Had to make the Scarlet and Silver folders again and delete them so they would remove from the skins list in setup. Had a problem with my sound files not showing up in ringstyles, copied all the files back and deleted the two *.db files, then restarted, then went back and removed a bunch of sound files and deleted the *.db files again and they are now listing.

Now the problem I am having is when I go into the main Menu, there are supposed to be 9 pictures/options. However, I am missing the T-Mobile picture, but if I move over to the empty space where it was I can still select the option. Also, if I go to the Office Tools in the main menu and select Web Access, I am missing a couple of pictures from there too, but can still go the the blank slot and select the option. I am thinking the problem was from deleting all the pictures in the a\pictures on the phone. Has anyone had this problem.

Depends on what you want to acheive???
Do you want to gain more memory?
Do you want clearer pictures?
Do you want to gain video capture?

To gain more memory youd have to down load pst and patch some files to make it work, youd also have to download p2kman to delete the sounds and pictures you dont want...

There are monster packs you can flash your phone with in order to gain video and clearer images...

Ive managed to get my v3's memory up to 10621
And video record.
