The first post explains how to delete files to increase memory - however the V3 really is not a music phone - you are not every going to get more than a couple of full lengths songs on there..

Hello. I'm a new member. I just want to say thanks to the mod's for being so helpful. A couple people have asked this question, but no one has yet to respond. I'm also having this problem, so I hope oneof the mod's or someone else know how to fix this (PLEASE RESPOND)

1. I did everything in the tutorial, but the icon for "My Account" and "Cingular Mall" are both missing from my menu. Any idea how to get them back?

2.Would it be beneficial to flash or flex (I don't know what either of them do) my phone. Its a Silver Razr V3 with bottloader 08.26 (Is this good or should I change it), SW Version R374_g_0E.42.15R (is this good or should i change this, what will a change do), and Flex Verison GSMV3MYCIN01NA1CD - 2.0.L.3.2.0.7.9.R.0.9.0.0.0.1.8.A.0.97.2S

Thanks a bunch in adavance.

1) Get a mma_ucp file from a Cingular flex - there is a full backup here: http://www.motomodders.net/Portals/0/UserFiles/User86112/V3_Cingular_B randed_Backup.rar

2) 42.15R is pretty recent - 42.17R is newest but you probably won't see a change. You could change the bootloader to 7.D0 to unlock for example

Unlocking allows you to use other providers sim cards - contrary to what others may tell you unlocking does nothing else

Bootloader 7.D0 also allows some mods such as changing the splash screen from the hello moto one. Also to restore with Flashbackup 2.62

There is no benefit to any newer bootloader
