i got the black razr about 2 months ago and i knew nothing, and i've been reading on this forum since then and learned alot. So first of all, thank you everyone.
My question is: my phone came with MMS templates.. I am assuming that getting rid of them would free up some memory, maybe even alot of memory... I don't think there's anything here so far on this topic.. anyone know if it's safe to delete them? I dont see why not, but if someone knows otherwise, please let me know!

Hello! I just got my black V3 Razr yesterday and I will be interested in expanding the memory as much as I can (safely that is, haha...)
Just giving you all a thanks in advance and a heads up that I will ask questions if I am lost.

hey samsung nice tutorial! i used it but i didnt get as much space as u
well anyway can u please help me figure out whats rong wit my phone after i followed this tuorial
I tried doing this to my razr, and I successfully freed up quite a bit of space. However, when I change the style (e.g. to Loud), and then try to select "Loud Detail", it will kick me back to the main menu
Oh yeah, I'm also stupid as hell and didn't back up anything before going on my deletion spree. I just got the phone yesterday.
Is there anyway to fix this without re flashing/flexing or whatever (I'm completely new to all of this, even deleting these things with P2KMan was scary for me) so I have no idea how I'd even start with that.
Oh and any tips for a noob on how to backup the phone in the future?
Thanks! Other than this quirk, your guide was awesome!

There are multiple fixes:
1. Use Motokit's Ringstyles fix option
2. Delete mytone.db & temptone.db with p2kman, click on the restart phone button, go to menu>multimedia>sounds>highlight a tone and click menu agan>apply as ringtone.
3. Open PST>file>new>feature file>click GSM> create>write to phone (make sure all values are set to 0
4. Download THIS and upload these 004C_0001 and 004d_0001 seems to your phone with p2kman

Hi guys,
I am new here, and have been reading the topics. I have used the p2kman with my Moto Razr V3 (black) and have deleted few files from the audio, all mms templates. Everything was working absolutely fine.
Yesterday, i was trying to upload a 2.9mb mp3 in the audio folder. The p2kman was not reponding so i had to forcefully shut it down.
Now, i have no idea what happened but on updating the file list i find a new folder just below /a/ named 60210 which contains that file. The size of the file shown is 0kb. I tried to delete the file but it shows Fail: Generic volume error. Also, the phone memory which was around 7.2mb has come down to 6.0mb.
Please guys, does any one know how to remove that file. I tried all options of Master Reset, Master Clear everything but of no use.
I would be really greatful if some one can take me out of this situation
As for details the flex version is Gsm3xxxt674taoec
and the software version is r374_g_oe.42.07r_a
Thanks & waiting for the reply

The only thing I can think of is reflex the phone.
P.s. Sometime p2kman may seem like its frozen or timed out if you upload a large file but never force close it unless absolutely necessary. Most of the time it will unfreeze and successfully upload your file.
