You can update the flash without updating the flex... you can download newest V3 firmware from motox.us and there is also a flashing guide in the 101 section.

Hi Samsung.
Im having a little problem.
At 1st I had the same problem as the others - then i tried to change details in Ring & Vibrate Ringstyle,it kicked me out. (I also tried to fix it with PST - everything in this ringstyle to zero, but it didnt work)
Then I installed Motokit,I used Fix Ringstyle Details and now I cant access the Vibrate Ringstyle details.
Can u help me ??
Thx icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm looking for a full system restore for the V3 and any help on what I might of deleted to make my phone act like this?

P.S.- The backup files i made for the phone were deleted by a virus I had on my computer so I don't know what I need to put back on. icon_squint.gif

I am completly new at this whole Cell phone modding thing, never even heard of it till i got to this forum. I just want to say that after following your tutorial down to the T ( i kept some of the files) i was able to achieve 9288 kb of memory !! and i got rid of some really annoying files !!
THANK YOU !!!!!! icon_w00t.gif i would hae never thought i would be able to do it but u were a great help !! just wanted to post this.

Although i wass able to do allthis with your help, i am having a minor problem, Motomixer no longer workx, and there are 2 icons missing from the main menu, although the missing icins are still selectable. any easy way to fix this? thankx again

BTW, i have a V3 Razr ( black)

Hi I was just wondering, is there a chance I can restore my cellphone after messing up? (Of course I will back up the files) I am little afraid to delete files.
