I've followed the instructions and I've got my phone to browse on Cingular's network, but for some reason the home page it just text, kindof. It's like it dosen't know what to do, or how to show the graphics and links that you normally get.

Does anyone know why this might be?

That is the same problem I am having......can browse but the medianet page is all text and it comes up on the URL as device.home#__card2. When it opens it looks like this:

Help

[]

Search

And I HAVE checked the settings over and over and they are all correct. Not sure what to do from here. My phone is a Pink RAZR purchased from the UK and is Virgin Mobile. I unlocked the phone myself but am still having such trouble getting my medianet on it. Any ideas.....

Flashing and flexxing worked for my phone. http://motox.us has some pretty good tutorials on what to do. Be careful, flashing and flexing will void your warranty. Use at your own risk! Worked fine for me though!

Has anyone actually gotten a pink v3 from t-mobile to work on cingular's medianet? I keep reading suggestions and instruction on many sites, but It just doesn't work. I have the same issues as Tigerlilys1964.

I see you got your Motorola A630 to work with the cingular network. That's exactly what I'm trying to do, but every website I've found to buy the unlock codes say that there are no unlock codes available for this phone. So what do I need to do to unlock it so that I can use it on my cingular account.[/quote]

any idea what i can do???

it looks like my only chance is to flash the phone?!

or is there any opcode to unable the web sessions????

Even the guys from T-Mobile Germany weren't able to help me..cuz the phone has an US origin icon_confused.gif icon_sad.gif icon_cry.gif

Okay so I tried to find a way to unlock it with just a code, and I can't find one, even on the websites that charge you for the code to unlock it. And no one in the area will do a manual unlock. So what should I try now.
