I just got an Unlocked A630. Put in my Cingular SIM card, made the changes in WebSessions, can access the internet fine, make calls fine, is there a way to make IM work? or POP3 email? also instead of saying Cingular on the stand by screen it says ATT WIRELESS GPRS, is that ok? is there a way to make it the same as my RAZR? Thanks for any help...

That is the same problem I am having......can browse but the medianet page is all text and it comes up on the URL as device.home#__card2. When it opens it looks like this:

Help

Search

And I HAVE checked the settings over and over and they are all correct. Not sure what to do from here. My phone is a Pink RAZR purchased from the UK and is Virgin Mobile. I unlocked the phone myself but am still having such trouble getting my medianet on it. Any ideas.....

I ended up loading a Singular branded flex into my Motorola V3 Raz. I don't see any other way to make it working.

Does the master clear effect the sim card? Or just numbers saved to the phone?

master clear will only effect the phone memory not the sim card if your address book is stored on the sim card you will be ok on the master clear but any downloaded ringtones, graphis, pictures or pic taken by cam if this is a device with a camara

I am having a similar problem with an unlocked TMo Nokia 6010, which I can make and receive calls using a Cingular SIM card. This is a simple phone, but I would still like to use text messaging. The default also seems to be tied to T-Zone, and I can't find any menu settings to change.

Does anyone have any experience changing the settings on a Nokia 6010? Thank you.

Could you please help! What is your solution on fixing the web access for Cingular? I have an A630 lock to T-mobile, but I unlock it and currently using my Cingular SIM to make calls and received. I also could text, but can not go on the WEB because the T-zone it still there. Anyway to clear the T-zone and convert it to the Cingular WEB browses?

I have this problem as well can you help please

Is that a samsung? Try the samsung forums, they may be able to get you squared away with the correct way to access the phone's websessions.

I thought you said it was an A630?

You'll need to unlock websessions first, check out the Map and guide in the tutorials section.
