I need a software to which i can download the pcitures from my phone. People have sugested bit pim, but the phone model is not on the list! Does anyone have any recs? Please i am suffering here not being able to find one to help.

Data Pilot is another LG program you might consider. You can buy it at any electronics store (Best Buy, Circuit City, Radio Shack, etc) but it may set you back about 30 bucks. You can try downloading it from one of the download services, like Limewire or Kazaa, but those are usually riddled with problems.

How do i upload mp3 ringtones and games via data cable to my L1400? Can anyone help me in either or both questions? thanks

For games you will need both parts to the file, and the LG Contents bank for your phone, but the contents bank blows chunks and it never works. You can upload them thru funformobiles dot com, and you would just pay the wireless inernet charge. You can't load mp3 files as mp3 format to your phone. IF you can convert them to an mmf file you can then send your tones over the data cable. Be carfeul because there is a size limitation in transfering files via data cable, being about 20 kb. If you use the website i listed above, you can upload up to 65 kb.

Is there any other way other than downloading it and paying the charges? I mean can you use the data cable to upload games into the phone? Thanks

None of the LG software's will allow it, caus ei have tried a million times with a million different versions of the LG software. The games always come up with the dreaded CME:3 Error when i try to put them on my 1400. trust me when i say the website i posted b4 is your best bet
