when you plug the phone in and windows asks for a driver, point it to c:\program files\motorola\mpt\ and it should find a driver there. When installed it will show up as a modem, not a storage device. This is why having just the driver won't work, you need mpt to be bad to talk to the modem. If this doesn't work uninstall everything and start over and follow the directions in the tutorial subforum just below this one.

hello, im new here as yo can tell but I need help with the razr driver's.
I can't seem to find any off the interent so does anyone have a link to where i can down load it?
Also where can i find a storage device for the razr?
I dont think it matters but ive got the razr V3 and its the red one so.
I hope to hear from someone soon

i read that but when the software install window pops up it closes it self right away and so the c:\program files\motorola\mpt\ fine doesnt exsit.
the most my phone does right now is Charge and its upsetting me ive been working on this for 5 hours now.

And you are selecting clean and reinstall when you run the driver program?

What is the s/w version - the process is a little different for CDMA models - and US Celluar is a CDMA carrier

I dont even know anymore.
My computer crashed so i have to try to re find the link to down load the correct software to at least get somewhere with this phone
