Alright, I have been browsing the forums for the past few hours looking for a way to transfer files to my silver Moto V3, and there seem to be many threads that address my problem...nevertheless, I can't find a solution, so I thought someone on here might have the answer I'm looking for. I have tried 2 separate versions of MPT, neither of which have worked. Also, I have read that other people have had problems similar to mine, but there wasnt a very clear solution to my problem, which happens to be this: MPT can't locate the phone plugged into the PC. When I first plug it in, I get a response from XP but not from MPT. I just need to establish a link so I can send the mp3 files I have edited to my phone, as well as some java apps. If anyone happens to know a way to establish a sync, I'd appreciate a response. Thanks for your time.

In the system tray, it will show "Motorola V3", but after a while, it will just disconnect itself. Also, it doesnt show up in My Computer as a drive like most storage peripherals. When it does connect, it will usually ask me if I want to install a driver for the phone and asks what directory to get the driver from. Since I dont have one, I cant provide a file path.
