Hi!
Following the instructions from Samsung posted here I wasn't quite able to get it all working.
What I had to do was simply to make sure that the 'Speed' setting in PC Studio > File > Setup matched the one in Control Panel > Phone and Modem Option > Modems > SAMSUNG > Modem.
I guess you'll want to use the highest possible value, 460800 for me, to make sure you don't loose what precious little transfer speed you get from this cable.
After this it all works fine for me, hope it does for you too.

I have the E730 as well on Fido in Canada. I am mating the phone with the bluetooth system in an Acura TL. I don't get the battery or signal strength indicators to appear in the display of the car. I was wondering if maybe a firmware upgrade would fix this. Does anyone know?
