Hang on in there, there must be a fix I hope. I have the same problem. UK V3 locked to Vodafone, I Flashed it to get the video recorder working, but then the camera and pictures folder stopped working.

I know the pics are still there as I can Browse them as wallpaper.

What file did you flash it with?

I flashed it with R374_G_0E.42.08R_reflash.shx to begin with and Boot Loader 8.26. This knachered the keyboard so I used the keyboard fix from motox.us. I used the handy V3 Video.rar from mobiledia.com:8081 to then upload the seem files and menu files to enable the Video Recorder. However I found that the camera and picture folder now didn't work. After many fruitless hours this morning, I finally flashed it again with R374_G_0E.40.9CR_MOTOX.shx from the Monster Pack link on motox.us which solved my of my problems.

Hope this helps.

If this should be of interest to anybody I finally found a Reflash and Flex which fixed nearly all the features of my mobile. The are the best and seem to work perfectly together.

I flashed it with R374_G_OE.40.9CR and Flesed it with GSMV3xxT674TAO9E. All the features are working except that when I try to capture a picture or a video the mobile goes in photo viewfinder mode and freezes there with a black screen. The only way to get out of this mode is to remove and replace the battery.

In my opinion the problem is that the camera went wrong and the mobile keeps hunting for it but does not find it. So I ordered a camera for it which I should recieve by next week. I will let everybody know.

Another thing is that this software boasts that it will increase the memory, But how is it that the mobile is showing me only 5257KB total memory?

As I said after flashing and flexing my mobile with several different versions I found that it worked best withe flash version R373_G_OE.40.9CR and flex version GSMV3xxT674TRO9E. But the camera still won't work. So I dicided that it was a hardware problem.
I bought a camera from from ebay and when it arrived I opened the mobile and changed it. It is not a hard job, all you have to be is be carefull.
After switching it on the camera still did not work! So I inspected the print under a powerful magnifying glass. When I disconected the ribbon cable that connects the two parts of the phone I found some of the pins on the plug a little bit greenish. I cleaned them up with a small fibre brush and while I was at it I cleaned all the other connecters.
When I put it back together and switched it on, Hooray the camera was working.
At the end I found that it was not the camera after all!

One question: Is there a way of increasing its memory, I read that other people clained over 7000kb, but mine is only giving 5341 total memory.

Another is there a way of taking longer videos as mine is limiting me to 30 seconds?

Thank You for all your help.

I have just done exactly what you did with my (locked to Orange PAYG) black razr and have exactly the same issues. I'm convinced there is an issue with that keyboard fix & killing the camera.

i'm delighted you got your's fixed, cos that should mean I can fix mine too.
