I have a D500c which I bought when I was on holiday in Singapore, It has been working great since april but the other day my phone did something weird, If I press the talk button when the phone is in "standby" mode (just at the ready screen where the wallpaper is displayed) instead of opening the call records like it always has, the screen goes from lit to dim but I can still see the wallpaper to rebooting where it will come up with the Samsung D500C screen. I have not flashed the phone. Can anybody suggest a solution?
P.S If I type a phone number then talk it works fine, if somebody calls I can press talk and it is fine. It only happens at the standby screen.

Follow the following link and try sending an email to Samsung Singapore and tell them about the problem:

I found a solution!!!
This code resets the EEPROM
*2767*3855#
The code deleted my phone saved sms, contacts security settings, blue tooth settings and GPRS Settings. MP3 and Photos were fine.
It fixed the problem though WOOOHOOO!!!!!!

The real solution is to upgrade the software not to default your phone back to factory as this also resets vital tunning settings that can cause call drop out and unit not being to charge correctly etc...

Mine has not done this......yet. I would love to update the firmware but nobody does it where I am and the cables are pretty expensive to buy off of ebay etc...
If you can suggest a cheap place who sells the cables I would be more than happy.

The way to fix this proble is to go into your call records and delete everything thats in it...
