Yeah, I know about the Standard/Automatic...
But automatic is much easier to drive and to learn (I guess even I could drive  )
I talked to my brother today, he knows this situation.
He also knows, that many of his friends made a driver's license in the US durring their holidays or durring student exchanges... they thought their license would be accepted easily in Germany... but no, they had to take a test which was nearly expensive like a normal driver's license here

here in the philippines you can get your liscense when your 18 or at a much younger age (you have to fake your age though) it can cost 'bout 2000-3500 pesos (it depends on what driving school you will enroll) we dont have to be in a certain age to drink and buy any beer and we can also buy the stronger stuff.
no wonder our country sucks *hehe*

That seems to me like a bad system to me.. So you mean to tell me, if you have a stroke and your mental capabilities are reduced by 75%, and you are paralyzed over half your body, you are still allowed to drive your car because you got your license 20 years ago?

In the last couple of years they decided to double our licenses from 12 to 25 dollars.
