When I download a ringtone to my Nokia 3650 and try to play it, it works but when i set it as my ringtone and someone calls me the phone plays Nokia sound instead of my new ringtone. Does anybody know why is that or how i can solve it?

hmmm.... dis is weird, but y don't u check up ur 4n profile instead. da default ringtone my be da nokia ringtone. so change it to da ringtone u desire and see whether it solves ur prob.

Sometimes it can be because the caller has been assigned to a group that has the default ringtone assigned, while the "others" group has the ringtone you'd like. I found this out because I tried to have 50 cent - in da club as my ringtone, but it wouldnt work because I was calling from my home #, which is a # saved in the "family" group. That group had the default ringtone assigned.

What kind of ringtone?
The standard Nokia ringtone only comes up, when a file isn't accessable (because it has been moved or renamed) or isn't upported.

save your ringtones to sounds digital folder this also happens when software like fscaller is installed

Have you select good pofile? i had same problem, are you transwering ringtones from PC or wap???

I have had this to... i notice that if you play it in the extras>recorder and leave that life in there recorder (just hitting the hangup to go back to the desktop). then it wont let you play the song as your ringer and plays the default (in my case, tmobil jingle)
