I purchased 2 razr (Cingular) about 30 days ago and both worked fine with transfering ringtone between other bluetooth phones but now anytime I try to transfer (and I have tried several different phones) after the transfer it says file is corrupt too. Has anyone solved this problem?
Called Motorola and they had me pull the battery and so master reset , Neither worked.
Thanks

Hi again,
I tried the remove battery and restart and I also tried the Master reset, neither worked. I did a master clear, which made me lose all my songs but now it works great. Just got a copy of moto phone tools.........ITs great.

I have had this same problem and it occured when i did the PC update with the disk that i received with the phone, when i saw the update was going to take 2 hrs i quit the update. I am currently updating it fully but i really think that this is what the problem is so if you use the disk you received and go to the Motorola Live Update in the start menu once the disk is downloaded to the PC i think it should be right -- once it has finished i will let you know of my results ... fingers crossed that its this simple.

Is everyone thats having the problem using the bluetooth connection method, if so try using a usb cable and reinstalling your phone in mpt, if not try doing what Mikeay10 suggested deleting the two .db files in the phone using P2kman

I had the same problem. Some files worked, but others didn't. Then I noticed the ones that didn't were all sampled under 22k, usually 11,025 Hz. Resampling to 22k was the solution for me.
