I bought a used sony ericsson t637 and it's provider was att wireles. I unlocked the phone and i joined t-mobile. The phone still has all of the "m mode" stuff but i was wondering if i could get t-zone. I asked a t-mobile rep if i could get "t-zone" but he bluntly answered no. Is it possible to switch the "m mode" to "t zone"? If so, how?

Yes ites possible, try using the above link thats stickied for getting wap and mms to work, if you model is not listed call back to customer care, if the rep is not able to help you ask to be transferred to WDG (Wireless Data Group)

I'm a T-mobile fan and use T-zone. I was an AT&T Wireless customer and used the mMode. I hate saying this, but mMode is much better than T-zone. You could try T-zone, but if I were you, I'd stay with mMode. That's about the ONLY thing than AT&T did right.

You're right, but it seems that he's already got mMode, even though he signed up with T-Mobile. He does have an AT&T Wireless telephone, not that this should make a difference, but it seems that it does.

Phone will say Mmode because its At&t branded but he will never be able to connect to it unless he has an At&t sim card with At&t service.

I am sure that t-mobile has a hidden online resource, cause most of the carriers do... Don't know what I'm talking about? Here is an example from cingular wireless than no buddy is supposed to know about but someone posted this link on a forum on my website...
