Hey everyone! I just got a Motorola V551 and I found some pretty nice skins for it online. I got a data cable for it too. Now I'm having trouble downloading the skins to my phone. The software I bought with the data cable doesn't have that feature I guess so I was wondering if maybe there is a program online I would be able to download to get the skins on my phone. I tried that p2k thing but for some reason it wouldn't work. Any suggestions?

You cannot just load skins to the skin folder with p2kman, its not that easy. Best/Easiest way for newbs is to flex the skins to the phone or use a program like p2kcommander.

yea i tried that p2kcommander already and i can't get it to work. i use the dropdown box and go to "p2k mobile phone" and won't go to it. at the bottom it says something about it failing. i tried so many times and got the same result. how do you flex skins to a phone? i guess i'll try that..

You use pst file>open?pflex

umm.. this might sound stupid but i have no idea what ur talking about. what is pst? is it a program? where do i find it?

You will have to google, if you dont know what im talking about you would be better off trying to get p2kcommander working ( in my opinion ) Do you have MPT installed (mobile phone tools)??

nope.. and p2kcommander i dowloaded twice already. unless im doing something wrong i dont know... is there a chance that maybe my phone is just not compatable with that program?

No its a driver thing, you need to buy a copy of MPT or you can try searching for PST, its suppose to have the phone driver also. You need either program for p2kcommander to recognize your phone.

ok i found out what it stands for.. know anywhere i could find it? im not havin any luck.
