Hi,
I've got the firmware in object (e720xxeg1) on my new e720 and I'd like to dump it on a File.
I bought a SERIAL data cable, I know how to use optiflash but I don't know which range I have to use in the tab "READ" to make a working dump.
Can you help me please?
At the end of this work, if gone correctly, I will give you the firmware, of course.
thanks

I seem to be as stuck as you
I just got my cable and the first time I tried to back up my firmware Optiflash got stuck at 62% reading something, not the firmware.
After this all trys fail........Optiflash says "power on mobile" and when I try nothing happens!
ARGH!
Any pro's here who can help us!!?

Read the last post from armkbdotcom in the following thread:
http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=209523&page=3&highlig ht=E720
the range setting seems to be:
32MB NOR 0x20000000 - 0x21FFFFFF
128MB NAND 0x28000000 - 0x2FFFFFFF
Hope it helps!

js1662!
Thnx for the ranges! I've added them but still, when I start the read optiflash asks "power on mobile" and when I try nothing happens! Nothing at all!... It's like the phone isn't even hooked to the cable except for the fact that the phone does not turn on.....But how could it when the battery has been removed.
