Hmm... have you been to any other carriers to see what changing the rate plan does? Most require an extension of your contract, and don't even offer rollover.
Cingular lets you change your plan as often as you want without penalty. Now that they put a limit on how many rollover minutes carry over, you want to cry about it? This is the exact reason they've done this..
How bout they just require you to extend a year on your contract, but let you keep your rollover.. would that be a better solution for you?

if you have that many, do you really need to keep them all anyway?

so don't change your plan then... you want to keep your unused minutes, keep paying the same rate your paying, and stop trying to get over on the system. Your the reason the policy changed!!

The cell provider can change the rules at any time. Gotta love fine print. But usually in a contract they must give you advance notice, lets say 30 days. If you keep using your service it constitutes agreement to the new changes. Often times you can use that notification period and change as grounds to terminate the contract without penalty. It's worth a try.

Cingular changes plans and policies the same way we change socks. They have repeatedly done this and then tell the reps " now go out there and make your quota". It was extremely hard for me top motivate my team when Cingular pulled something like this and then puts the reps on the frontline to take the abuse while the suits reap the benefits. I'm glad I don't work there anymore.

who told you there is a quota?
the conditions of the current rate plans and the differences between them are explained but there is no "quota" to meet
if you dont change your rate plan there is no change... if you change your rate plan you are now under new conditions....its called cause and effect

I was told at the time of my signup that "AT ANY TIME I COULD REDUCE MY PLAN AND KEEP MY MINUTES ROLLED OVER, PROVIDING THE PLAN HAS ROLLOVER." Well let it be known that I wanted to reduce my minutes to 450 minute plan, and NOW the rules are changed. The reduction in plan constitutes a LOSS of all built up minutes to the rate of the current plan,(I would lose all 7100 min except for 450) Is there anyone else out there that feels this is UNFAIR and and an illegal business practice? Is there a lawyer out there that would be interested in this as possibly a Class action? Changing the rules 1/2 way through the game is BS and I am one p*ssed cingular Customer!!!!!! | ya i had the same b.s.with them last summer..them bastards hisssss!!! its the way of $$$$ with them!! but good luck
