Has anyone started a lawsuit against Cingular because of the rollover theft? I want to join pronto!

Yje clause that you can't join a class action lawsuit won't hold up. it's like putting a bumper sticker n your car stating that you're not responsible for aanything you hit. Won't hold up in court.

Well the contract that you signed is a legally binding agreement... you can waste all your hard earned money in court on that one.

I just love how people get mad at Cingular trying to turn a profit, I mean wtf Cingular has some balls huh????? I think they should just have 1 rate plan that’s 29.99 and you get unlimited everything, text, pics, email, min .... that way I get everything I want don’t have to pay a lot for it and IM happy............................................... and if yall couldn’t tell i was being sarcastic and that’s about how stupid yall sound , god the way yall talk id think I was babysitting by 6 year old niece,

Grow up act your age. Cingular is a corporation looking to turn a profit, they want to make there customers happy but they aren’t going to go bankrupt doing it

And hey! There is a 30 day notice! Cingular just doesn't adjust your rollover minutes the moment you change your plan. In fact, it takes one full billing cycle under that new plan, which is generally greater than 30 days, to adjust the rollover minutes.

Secondly, Cingular Wireless is not violating its contract or any business practice. At all. It would have to in order to receive a class-action law suit, like Verizon Wireless had a year back or so. And like any fine print, it's good to know what you're signing up for. Yeah, Cingular can change their policies. They're rat bastards to do that, but they've got that right. Plus, you only receive the rollover adjustment when you change your service.

And! Lastly, you shouldn't get mad at the representatives who suggest things like upping your rate plan and riding it for a couple of months: They had no idea that the policies would be changed. Any front-line representative is generally the last to know about ANY change whatsoever. From what I know, it took nearly a month for Cingular representatives to find out that a recall was pulled on the V3s. A month!?

So, you can wait your contract out. You can cancel your wireless service right now and go to another carrier. You can write letters to the president, and maybe if it gets high enough they might be willing to give back 50% of minutes that'll expire before you get a chance to use them. But, chances are, that policy is here to stay.

I signed up for Cigular Rollover, 1100 min Nationwide ACCT, 119.00 a month,(whatever) I have built up over 7100 mins in my rollover acct, Minutes that are paid for that are not used.... I was told at the time of my signup that "AT ANY TIME I COULD REDUCE MY PLAN AND KEEP MY MINUTES ROLLED OVER, PROVIDING THE PLAN HAS ROLLOVER." Well let it be known that I wanted to reduce my minutes to 450 minute plan, and NOW the rules are changed. The reduction in plan constitutes a LOSS of all built up minutes to the rate of the current plan,(I would lose all 7100 min except for 450) Is there anyone else out there that feels this is UNFAIR and and an illegal business practice? Is there a lawyer out there that would be interested in this as possibly a Class action? Changing the rules 1/2 way through the game is BS and I am one p*ssed cingular Customer!!!!!! icon_mad.gif icon_mad.gif icon_mad.gif
ya i agree but they do that shit, its cingular for ya icon_mad.gif

Well i see everyone is whineing about the policy changes atleast cingular is letting you keep a portion of your rollover balance instead to takeing away all of them. Hey cingular could have been like other wireless providers and not let you keep your unused bal so why are you complaining about your unused mins being caped i would rather loose 1050 rollover and keep the 450 bal as those min will not roll off for a year from now beacuse when you rollover is caped they will change the expire date on the bal you keep to not expire for a year instead of loseing min on the next cycle and loose those that were caped also. So grow up act your age quit whineing beacuse cingular does not have to offer rollover at all
