I assume it's 'before' in the sense of 'in front of' but there's very few times when there's people in front of me, and I'm more likely to want to beat them with a MagLight than say something nice.
I have, however, never actually had to resort to that, and the sad thing is I don't even have a fullsize MagLight to at least threaten with. That and the whole 'getting fired/arrested' thing if I was to even think about it....

Yeah. I really shouldn't complain about being bored so often, cause the nights I'm not bored usually involve lots of paperwork.

An apartment building right now, but hopefully in a month I'll go back to my old post of guarding houses under construction. This is a temporary thing while certain residents are there. I normally drive around partially constructed (and some occupied) homes and make sure nobody's stealing or vandalizing stuff. normally 4 12 hour graveyards, currently 5 10 hours. normally get to listen to the radio in the truck, now silence (not to mention all the freaking walking). I've called the cops twice in my month at this place, and in 2 months at the construction site I called them once. The only time I called the police in my year and a half at an office building was to cancel an accidental 911 call someone made with a fax machine.
Yeah, I hate this place.
