I'm a new customer to T-Mobile. I just learned tonight that any dialed call on T-Mobile is charged to your account (you use minutes) whether you connect with someone or not. Did you know this?
I was with Cingular before this and there you weren't charged unless you actually connected...

Your not charged unless you connect, whether its to an answering machine/voicemail or person. If it just rings and rings and you hang up, you will not get charged.

Actually, if the line rings for more than 30 seconds you do get charged with Cingular. Not sure with T-Mobile tho.

All service provider start charging the minute you hit SEND button. Did you know that? It's called air-time not talk time. Check your bill.

all is such a misunderstood word... the airtime clock starts running as soon as you hit send... the billing clock is variable pending provider... att/cingular the billing clock starts 30 seconds after the first ring... some sprint plans used to give first minute free...and so on...check your terminology
