does anybody know where i can download software to transfer files from my samsung sgh e720 to pc other than from the samsungmobile site?? which are other good sites for this? I have to use an unzip programme with the samsung site! is bluetooth a better solution?

bluetooth is okbut cable is quicker, why cant you unzip the file from samsungs site?

thank you for answering my query.i'm not sure why i can't unzip the file. i downloaded from winzip.com but was unable to go further. can you tell me how to proceed after winzip is installed? thanks!!

go into my documents/ received files create a new folder "samsung"
when you double click the zip file do you get the winzip extractor box?
click browse and select my document/received/samsung, will extract straight to that file, ALSO DOWNLOAD SAMSUNGS USB DRIVER. Pimms is a bit awkward to install, do it this way and it should be ok
1. Install samsung usb driver before connecting any cables.
2. Install pimms again without any cables connected to your pc.
3. Connect your cable and your phone and xp will install new hardware, click continue anyway when prompted.
4. Start pimms and go to setup and change port speed to max and comm port to no4
should now be working good luck

pimms is samsungs pc software downloadable form this link, you will also need the usb driver as well.
