Is there any semi cheap way you know of to have unlimited SMS, data, picture, etc service on a cingular Treo 650 or SMT 6500? With Sprint it's around $15 to $20 extra, but cingular doesn't seem to have anything that compares.
Basically it sucks to have a phone, where various features are metered.

Cingular used to have the media net package which includes unlimited data usage, 1000 sms, & 250mms for $20/month. They have capped it now. The answer is no.

What's capped? I see the Media Net Unlimited package, but it doesn't seem to include any sms, mms...just data
The Media Works thing is 1000 sms, unlimited mms, and 5mb data...
If I had a smartphone, would it be smarter to go with Media Net unlimited, and Media Works instead of DataConnect unlimited?

I guess the name has changed. Media net is for data only (unlimited), Media works is a combo as you stated.
I was refering to the limited data transfer when I said "capped." It is now 5mb rather unlimited compared to mine.

You probably want dataconnect, because you have the smart phone and I don't think that is a WAP device, meaning what you see when browsing should mirror what you see at home when browsing on a P.C. Cingular has no unlimited SMS/MMS combos, whic is idiotic. Especially when they heavily promote data features such as mms/and sms.

I've got the OLD MediaWorks plan, where I have 1500sms, 200mms and UNLIMITED internet for $20/month. I would gladly switch to a plan that is unlimited sms/mms for $9.99 or even $14.99 (like T-Mobile).
