hello my dad got an LGU8120 about a year ago and the other day it stopped working the phone won't turn on it turns on for a second and then goes ded and we've charged the phone up loads can u help me please???
reply asap please

Your battery might be completely dead. Go to your service providers store and ask them if you can try a new one. If that works buy a new battery.

well it's not that my sister has the same phone and i tried her battery which was working in hers and it didn't work and my dads battery worked in her phone so if you have any more ideas please let me know okay!

i have the same problem.
the phone turns off suddenly and i cant save my configs..
sometimes it stop workin and I have to take off the battery to reestart.
the external display doesnt work too...

so do i have to take the battery out??? how long for i mean it dusn't matta now coz my dad was on contract who had the fone but ... the contract has run out now so it dusn't really matta!!!!!

thanks for the help if anyone else thinks of something else please tell me because i can put the phone on PAYG! so i can use the phone instead of mine or my dad can use it instead of getting a new contract phone!!!!!

I have exactly the same problem. The phone turns on for a second andthen goes off. The battery id OK, because it works with other mobiles of the same type, but other batteries won't make any difference either.
