My LG C1500 is on the way so I can't post anything from experience, but I downloaded the RingtoneChopShop program from RingToneChopShop.com and it shows that it can convert from MP3 to 3 different MMF formats ... MA1, MA1, and MA3. Can anyone verify that any of these formats works on the LG C1500?
I'm trying to make some ringtones before my phone gets here and I don't want to waste time making them in the wrong MMF format!
Thanks!

Neither could I until I added a "1" in front of my 10-digit number. Then it worked. Who knew?

I converted mine to MMF (tried all 3 formats ... MA1, MA2, and MA3). None worked. The message came in and said that the MMF file was removed from the message because it was an incompatible format. The MMF file was 43k.
HOWEVER ... I sent a MID file and it worked great!

well MID files are supported on almost all phones. The only thing i could tell you is if that doesn't work try the website -edited- . Upload the tone you want and they send your phone a text msg with a URL in it. If you go to Extract, then URL, and select Open in Browser (thats what my phone says yours may be different). Then you can download the tone and it will be saved to your ringtones folder. I hope that works
