I need to get a new phone but I'm sure as soon as I get one something new and wonderful will be available from Cingular.
What phones are known or rumored to be coming to Cingular?
I've heard rumors of a new Blackberry, a new smartphone/pda.
Anyone got info?

not as of yet... here in customer care we dont find out until it happens...sometimes we get 2-3 days lead time...
usually the xmas season is the rollout date (for obvious sales reasons) and thats almost upon us

Lol, its kinda funny. This website knows which provider is going to get a cell phone before most reps know about it...

funny yes... and when the call comes in for someone ordering model xxx... I usually have to scramble... I always check the website every morning just in case...

I have read on a couple websites that there is a new Blackberry with Cingular's name on it (actually the photos show one with Cingular's name on it). One of my client's has the SE W800 walkman phone but I haven't seen it on the website. It's really nice, much smaller than I expected.
Any rumors about Cingular getting any of the Siemens phones? It doesn't appear that Siemens is carried by any of the major US companies. But they have some nice new phones.

Cingular only carries the PDA...SX66 currently... shame... I found the phones easy to work with

I've read that Cingular should be getting the new BB 8700 and the Nokia 9300. All the discussions seem pretty certain about those.
I've also heard, tho not with as much certainty, that the motorola slvr, the nokia 6680 and the SE W800 are supposed to be released by Cingular soon.
I REALLY want to get a new phone but I am not thrilled with any of the current selections. And the way my luck works something wonderful will be released the day after I buy a new phone.
