Had any luck yet? I am waiting for you  to make sure I can go back before I step out there and upgrade to 8.26.

No !!! i'm chicken out did not do it. It should not matter with you just unlock it then blash it to 8.26 just becare full don't blash any files that will lock you back up!!

Well, If I can sneak it away from my wife, I will try this weekend. If you haven't heard anything by Monday, it means she hit me in the head with a frying pan because it didnt work
I am going to upgrade to 8.26 and then spend the rest of the weekend trying to go back to 8.23. I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, I got my E550 back, so my wife took that one. I flashed the 8.26 BL on my RAZR and now I see why you are so frustrated. It looks like the BL actually takes up a different memory address or there is a lock on it. I am still at it. The good thing is that Ihave tried everything there is to try to break it, and the phone still works great (except for the fact that I cant switch BL).
I am going to see if I can just kill it by overwriting everything. I have tried the wrong flashes and that doesnt work either. I may even try shorting the flash out and reprogramming (I am really looking for a reason to get a new RAZR I will let you know.

I read on one article , the guy have to short a test point in the board to flash it down to 8.23 ( you have to open up the fone!!! )well anyway
