Hi,
I have a v300 and a v400 and a datacable. On my v300 (from T-Mobile, T-mobile tag on phone), used with fido, I get bad reception and Im not able to access the mobile browser. But on my v400, I get great reception (5 bars) and I am able to access the mobile browser. The v400 is also used with fido and it, itself is from fido (Fido tag on phone). I was wandering if I can upgrade the v300 to the same as the v400. I've searched over the internet on how to do this and where I can obtain the v400 software, but no luck. So basically my questions are:
1. Can I upgrade the v300 to the same thing as the v400?
2. Can I download (and copy) the v400's software to my computer and make a backup of the v300 software, and upload the v400's software to the v300 phone? (Backup - to revert back to if it doesn't work)
3. If I can't copy the v400's software, where can I obtain it from?
4. If this is possible, how can I go about doing this?

1)yes
2)No need you can get Triplets files from http://www.motoaide.com:8081/download.htm and there is a link in this forum for the newest triplets flash the 75R. As far as your flex goes you can back it up using motokit.
3)answered above
4)Check out the flashing and flexing sticky listed above.

Thanks for the help.
Ordered a data cable 2 days ago, should be here in a day or 2, and I'll see where it goes from there. I'll keep you posted, so you can point me out in the right direction. Thanks.
Oh btw, whats the difference between flash and flex? Like I mention, can I backup the v300 just incase it doesn't turn out right, so I can revert back to it - (a backup)? Is the software that will allow me to do this also available on the website you mentioned?

I updated my v300 phone using this monster flash from motoaide
TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.1DR_A1_LP0039_JPG_0B_TRIPLET_04_05R_SE6414AXXB10FD_1F F
I worked successfully. Phone has full signal when it usually didn't, and can access mobile browser. Overall phone turned out great.
I also this is update with my v400 but after the update when I turned on the phone, the phone starts and makes startup sound but the LCD doesn't turn on. I shutoff the phone are restarted it. But no luck. I got irritated and updated the phone with this:
TRIPLETS_G_0B.08.A5R_A_LP0037_JPG_0B_TRIPLET_04_05R_SE6508AXXB70FE_1FF
Now the phone turns on, the buttons light up, but the LCD still doesn't, the phone makes no sounds and after 30-40 seconds the phones lit up buttons turn off again. Can someone help me. I've just bought this phone and hasn't even been a week since I've had it and now it doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Old_Fool: I've been running 75R for about a week now and had no problems, if anything it fixed the problems I had with 72R, my battery life was always bad (1-2 days max.) and there's been no difference.
akstash: the 2nd time you flashed the V400 you put on a much older flash and you could have also done that the first time as well. Try finding the 72R monster pack on the link Samsung gave earlier and use that.

I can't connect the phone the computer since it doesn't turn on. When you try to turn it on, the button lights light up, but no sound or LCD activity. So i can't get the computer to detect the phone. Anything I can do?

ok, take the battery out, hold * and # then put the battery in while holding those buttons, it forces it into Bootloader mode.
