OPCODE to change bandwidth:
Click Menu then 048263* This open OPCODE
Enter the following code:
10*0*7 North America GSM 850/1900.
Note:After you enter a selected code and hit ok you see Success it is done.

Thank you for that. How do I get into the OPCODES To change? Should I buy a data cable?

samsung, i need help as well.. i was figiting with my phone, well my friend called and it said it was her, but my phone dindt ring.. it vibrated.. so i tried to look at some contacts phone numbers, it allowes the first few, then if i click on the next, it goes back to the menu.. and also.. i have no idea what the master reset code is to try that, they never gave me it, i never set one.. could you help me ? i would also like help on the funlights please if you could, i really hope you are there, i dont like my phone being messed up, if you could help that would be greatly appreciatedor anyone..

Ok.. I've done the opcode thing and now I must be on 850, but I still don't get reception... ANYWHERE.

Any ideas? Is there any other ways to change the bandwidth?

Master reset code is 000000 if it has been changed from the default you can find out what it is using smartmoto located here http://www.motoaide.com:8081/download.htm I am posting on your other thread regarding the funlights

i found that code in my book, i did the master reset.. it didnt work, do you have any other ideas? i edited the seem, but it didnt add that to the menu.. whats wrong.. please help me further, if u could talk to me on a messenger and walk me thru it that would be nice, i sent an email to your gmail account wich im sure is overwhellmed with emails

wow, samsung on the seem editing i understood that, but the whole adding the menu item for funlights i do not understand.. would you be willing to edit those two files for me to make it under there please? you know what your doing, i have already half way messed my phone book up and i really dont know how or how to fix it, i wish i could send you some files and you check them out.. and maybe fix it..
