i changed the message center number on my phone a while ago trying to get text messaging to work since it had stopped. I got a new messaging plan, and i can receive texts but i must have the message center number incorrect since nobody can receive them from me. I dont know how to get the correct number, either...any help?
I am in northern california.

you are gonna hafta call customer care..if you are "blue" ...866-293-4634 or "orange" 1-800-331-0500 to get the right one for your area.... call from a land line with your phone in hand

why would you go change settings on your phone when you have no idea what the setting needs to be ?

the message center number for the entire country for ATT/cingular is +13123149810 (new att and old cingular)
note the plus sign. that MUST be there
for old ATT (sim starting with 8931) is +19703769301
