Hi,
I had following experience with one of t-mobile stores. I stopped by to activate new 29.99 plan and was told by the representative that I can get Samsung e335 phone for free with 50 dollars mail-in rebate. So, I paid 50$ , picked up the rebate form and activated constract. An hour later I was looking through the mail-in rebate form and noticed that plans that qualify for this rebate are 39.99 and more. I returned to the store and explained them my concerns. Representative agreed that it was his mistake and promised me that he'll credit my T-mobile account with 50$, but this credit will be available only 45 days after the activation.
At that point I believed him and walked out the store. But now I realalize that he may as well not give me credit at all... he didn't give me any written confirmation of it. Is there anything that I can do about it??? I can cancel my account but I guess I'll still have to pay 35$ activation fee....
Thanks.

get it in writing him notarised by the store manager while you witness it with your own eyes.... 30 days is the standard buyers remorse period... 45 days is the standard commission pay period for a store....
if you remain on service beyond the buyers remorse period you are locked into a contract...
be careful

Cingular is the only provider to offer a 30 day buyers remorse period nationwide, longer than any other provider. t-mobile is 20 days. this was taken from the t-mobile web site.
You may cancel Service without paying a cancellation fee within the Return Period, which is 20 calendar days from the date of your order (30 days in CA). During the Return Period, you can cancel Service for any reason so long as you: (a) contact us to cancel Service; and (b) return with proof of purchase, any product purchased from t-mobile.com or 800-TMOBILE in connection with your activation of Service. Even if you cancel Service and/or return your product, you must pay all Service and other charges incurred prior to cancellation or return.

The buyers remorse peroid is 14 days if you bought it in store, i really don't think your going to get your credit for 2 reasons #1 the only thing they would have offered to do is put you on a higher rate plan and #2 Sales reps at T-mobile can't issue credits or tell you that one will be issued all credits have to go through customer care.
