I am with nextel right now and my plan has just ended, and i plan to switch to T-Mobile. My question is I plan on getting the "get more 1000" witch is 1000 anytime minutes and "No nationwide long-distance or roaming charges". So basically this means no matter where i am in the us, if i get reception and am talking on my phone, I wont get charged with roaming or long distance? seems too good to be true for $40 a month.

Believe it, it's true. I haven't used my home phone in a long time to dial long-distance. However, I guess I should say that most other carriers have the same type of deal. I guess (Sprint) Nextel doesn't. Hmmm!

Brandon there are two Get More 1000, there is the Get More 1K that offers a flat 1000 whenever minutes, there are no unlimited nights (9:00pm – 6:59am) and there are not unlimited weekends (Fri midnite to Sun midnite) this is at 39.99 plus tax per month depending on if your location offers this rate plan and there is the Get More Plus with Nights that offers 1000 whenever minutes, unlimited nights and unlimited weekends at 39.99 plus tax per month.
These rate plans the United States is your home coverage area so if you’re from California and are in New York you will not be charged for roaming as New York is also your home coverage area yes I know another service provider’s name will appear on your handset but you are not charged for roaming and NO Canada is not part of the US therefore it is .49 per minute to use your handset in Canada, I get a lot of disputes that the customer was charged for using their handset and they never left their home coverage area I look at their bill and it shows Rogers Wireless the carrier in Canada, when I question this they tell me that Canada is nation wide (duh)
Reminder please check the coverage at ALL of the locations that you will be using the handset and it can be checked at the retail T-Mobile stores that have the better coverage maps.
