I sent a prank text message to my friends phone from Nextel.com. I didn't include any reply information. Will she be able to look up who it's from? Are those websites really anonymous?

If you broke the law or made any threats, your friend can contact the police, who in turn can contact Nextel.com who in turn can look up the IP address of the computer that submitted the 'anonymous' text message.
But for the most part, I wouldnt be worried about it. Unless you made threats on someones life, they wont look up that info.

I was accused of sending an anonymous text message to my sister in law that was really rude but I didn't do it. Is there any way to prove that I wasn't the one who sent it? Anyway to trace it back to who did? I really need to clear my name of this so if there is a way please someone help me out here. Thanks so much.

It should be possible to find out when the text was sent, and get confirmation from your provider as to whether you sent any texts at that time. Of course, that only would work if you don't text too frequently.
