I recently purchased and unlocked motorola A630 from someone that was a T-Mobile provider and I am a Cigular customer. I'm trying to figure out how to change the phone from T-Moblie to Cingular. Any info?

are you having trouble with current network? I would just leave it alone if not.

No problems other than when i try to go online withmy phone it only goes to T-mobile's site for downloads and stuff. I can type in the address manually, but if it can be changed why not change it.

OK, I thought that i could put the addresses in manually. It still wont see a network. After reading through some other posts I have come tot he conclusion that my phone is "branded" for T-mobile service only. So the only thing I can do right now is normal cellular calling and basic texting. other than that not much works aside from the normal internal phone stuff, ie. datebook, games, calculator. Through reading I guess the phone can be un-branded, but it sounds like there are so many options to do this. how can someone who knows nothing about and who does not have all the equipment and cables and programs accomplish this? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm in the same boat as this guy. I read somewhere that if you dia master reset that you can change the service provider programing on the phone, But NO ONE said if it would get rid of the unlock code. Help with this would be great. thanks!!
